The house

Coastal Retreat at Thanal is a private three-bedroom villa a few minutes from the shore. The bedrooms open onto a shaded verandah, and below it a coconut garden runs down toward the water.
The whole house is yours, there is no shared space the property. Mornings are for coffee on the terrace, afternoons for the shade under the palms, and evenings for the sea breeze.
The terrace and both upstairs bedrooms look straight out over the water. Sunrise comes up across the sea, and the sound of it carries through the house all night.

“This place was an amazing Dream Home location to have in LIFE. An amazing access to direct beach from the villa compound which gave us access to rarest virgin beach experience was awesome. The villa is well maintained. Uncle Watson was an amazing person and ready to help for any thing needed. We can’t thank enough for the out way arrangement of milk and sugar as we were late to check in. The rooms were clean enough…utensils were clean to use Immed. Washing machine and iron box facilities also helped us get ready crisp after our 6 days trip to Munnar and Thekkady before we reached Coastal retreat at Thanal. It will always remain as a great time , wish we could stay more and enjoy this place more. Would suggest anyone reading this to plan minimum 2-3 nights at this place to take more memories and fun within the compound.”

“Perfect mix of beach vibes and city accessibility! Highly recommend this homestay if you want to stay close to Technopark but want to escape the city noise. The beach is literally a stone’s throw away, very peaceful, and uncrowded. The property is beautifully maintained, the rooms are very neat, and the host’s hospitality is top-notch. The location is peaceful and perfect for unwinding, with the soothing sound of the sea adding to the charm. The host is friendly, warm, and very responsive, making sure guests feel comfortable throughout their stay. While there is no in-house dining, food is easily available through Swiggy, which is quite convenient. Overall, Thanal is a lovely choice for a calm and refreshing beachside getaway.”
